Another way to message.

Connect your account to a supported app so you can use its features with your Robono conversations. You choose which app gets access and can disconnect it later.

Developer preview. Code linking is available in Robono builds that include Linked apps, for apps that have implemented Robono linking. The other app must support this connection method.

How to connect

Have Robono installed and sign in to the account you want to use. You will also need an app that supports Robono account linking.

  1. Start in the other app

Open that app’s account or connection settings and choose its option to connect Robono. The exact label depends on the app. It will show a temporary connection code.

  2. Enter the code in Robono

Open Linked apps → Connect an app in Robono and enter the code. If you are signed out, sign in as usual first. Linking does not require an additional SMS verification.

  3. Review and approve

Check the app’s name and developer, the Robono account shown, and the access it is requesting. If everything is correct, choose Allow connection. You can decline instead.

  4. Return to the other app

After approval, return to the app and let it finish connecting. Your available conversations can then appear there, depending on the permissions you approved and the features the app supports.

You do not need a developer account, an API key, or a separate Robono registration. Only enter a code from a connection you started yourself. Never enter a code someone sends you.

What you are allowing

The approval screen tells you what the app is asking to do. It may ask to see your name and phone number, read available conversations and media, send messages on your behalf, or mark messages delivered, read or heard.

Access applies to the available conversations covered by those permissions; this preview does not offer a per-contact selection. Review the other app’s privacy policy before approving.

Your Robono account stays signed in. Existing blocks, connection approvals, and communication rules still apply. Linking an app does not create new contact connections or restore deleted history.

Disconnect whenever you need to

  1. Open Linked apps in Robono

Open your account menu and select Linked apps.

  2. Choose the app and disconnect

Find the app, choose Disconnect, and confirm. It will lose access to new requests through that connection.

This disconnects the app; it does not delete your Robono account or disconnect you from your contacts. Data already received by the other app is subject to its own retention and deletion policy.

If you need help

I cannot find a Connect Robono option

The other app must support Robono linking, and access must be enabled. Your Robono build must also include Linked apps. Check the other app’s instructions or contact its support team.

The approval request expired

Go back to the other app and start connecting again. Approval requests expire after a few minutes. Codes expire after five minutes. Do not reuse an old code.

Robono shows the wrong account

Do not approve. Sign in to the intended account in Robono, then start a new connection request from the other app.

Some messages or features are missing

Each app supports its own features. Available messages also depend on the access you approved, conversation rules, and how long content remains available. You can continue using Robono directly.

Will I get notifications from both apps?

Linking does not automatically turn off Robono notifications. Notification behavior in the other app depends on its implementation and your phone settings. Check that app’s settings if you receive duplicate alerts.

An app asks for my Robono SMS code

Do not give it the code. Account approval happens inside Robono. Enter a Robono verification code only when signing in to Robono itself.

For help with Robono, email support@robono.com. Include the app name, your phone type, and the error shown. Do not include passwords or verification codes.
